How to save book citations

The easiest way to save a book citation is by finding the book at Amazon.com. Then click on the book iconbook icon to add the citation to your Zotero library.

If you find a book in QuickSearch (quicksearch.libraries.rutgers.edu) of Rutgers Libraries, you can add the citation of the book to your Zotero library.  However, since QuickSearch does not support Zotero translator, a few extra clicks may be needed. First, click "Export RIS".  Then click the "Download" button.  You will save the file called Primo_RIS_Export.irs to your computer.  Then, double click on this filename and open the file.  You will be prompted to add (or import) the citation to your Zotero library.

While a few extra clicks will take you to saving this record, it will be easier to perform the search in Amazon,and then save the citation directly into your Zotero Library.
